hi peeps ,just joined your gti web sight.i have a golf gti convertable on a G reg (1990).its a good car.needs bits doing but i am gradually getting round to everything.its done 75000 from new and has all the paper to prove.she is totaly standard.the wheels are bbs but they have the vw stamp on them and the serial no ect.she is dark blue /purple ish depending on the light!!! manual windows and an electic roof? whats that all about.when i have pics i will show you .ps spelling is realy bad so forgive me!!!

thanks 4 the welcom peeps. i will get pictures sorted out as soon as i work out how! can fix your car but get hoplessly lost in the  strange and wonderful world that is computors .if you do get stuck on anything (when it comes to your golf of course) and i have incountered the problem i will help you out as much as i can.all the best,i will keep working on the picture thing

hi there, and welcome !!!!  :D ive only been on here a few days too but have found the site a great help, there are alot of people on here with lots of good advice ! i also have a cab g reg , i love her to bits but needs a few things doing ………….i ll get there in the end !  :D

I used to own a mk1 - well I've had 2 actually - YDU 720X & SMU 420Y. Currently I drive an 98 Scotia White Mitsubishi Evolution V RS…. fancy getting another mk1 someday :D
