Newbie introduction Golf C 83'

Hi, wanted to say hi as a newbie before I jump into the general chat with some heavy hitters (questions about fixing stuff)

My first car was a MK1 golf GL 4 door back in the late 1990's and regret selling it (was an inexperienced twenteen year old assuming my gear box had gone, sold for what I spend on a Rust box of a Renault 5 that had just done Europe, in 'life earned' hindsight, my clutch was slipping)
Now recently @40 something I've acquired (my mid life crisis car) another MK1 golf C
