stripped cleaned and painted these the other day…




also had to get a replacement cv joint (the others seem to be o.k. and replacement boots all round :)

starting to look forward to getting it put back together now as I know it's going to handle real nice as all the bushes bearings and suspension will be new! :)

cleaned off the backside of the engine block today and painted it with some engine enamel…





there are a couple of bits which need to be addressed but seeing as I was on ma back crawling under the car to do the job didn't turn out too bad really! :)

fitted a windage tray today and also my mega bright red sump (complimented with black bolts!!)

my plan for the mo is under the bonnet and underside of the car I'm gunna get it as good as my budget will allow… the bodywork is going to have to wait, it's solid but a little dog eared!
but all the running gear brakes etc is refurbished and or new!
just scored a pair of dcoe twin 40's for it as well :)

next up on the list of to do's is sort out the steering issue :(
then I need to find a stainless system from manifold back, I picked up a stainless 4-2-1 a while ago for fifty quid! :)

stripped off all the kak from a power steering pump I was given the other day and gave it a lick of paint... looks good as new again :)

also been busy mucking about with my weber carbs I got from the for sale section on here…


here's a before picky of the condition they were in…






and here it is after I have mucked about with if for a while (quite a while…lol :) )




found a couple of pieces missing just hope I can replace em!

so that's one down just one more to do, shouldn't be so long on the second one as I kinda know what I am doing now! :)

got ma freshly painted fuel tank re-installed today and all connected up :)
hope to get the rear beam up and on next weekend which will be cool for sure as I can start to see progress!
