Arch liner

Advice/direction please. I am about to fit front arch liners to my 83 tin top. How are they attached to the arch lip and is a fitting kit available. Many thanks

Arch liners should have metal clips that go to take the screw, you can still get these from VW (well I got some a couple of years ago). They are like these but you need the proper ones as they are shorter and will line up with the hole in the liner https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322352260488

Arches are drilled and then it's a screw and plastic washer.

There are also some mount points deeper inside the liner.
