Faint hope someone might have a few of these parts or may be able to point me in the right direction before I trawl ebay, or bite the bullet with Heritage / VW Germany.
I'm looking for a few bits for a 1992 Sportline restoration, ideally genuine where possible.
- 2 x outer front wings (genuine)
- 1 x complete front panel
- 1 x front number plate surround for sportline/rivage body kit
- window & door rubber seals (front door seal x 2, front windscreen seal x 1, screen top header seal, front outer scaper x 4, black aluminium trim drivers door)
- Drivers side interior door capping
- Roof top rubber seal set (x6 pieces)
- drivers door mirror housing
- leather 5 speed gear knob
MANY THANKS!
Arran

Waste of money imo and looking at the job you got on there’s better things to spend the money on.
The 6 rubber seals for the roof frame rarely need changing.
Outer scraper seals are usually shot.
Header seal on later cars tend to be ok.
Windscreen seal OEM are superior the aftermarket ones as are door seals.
As are the rear window seal.
You just need patience when stripping the car down.
No good just ripping stuff off for the sake of it.

Not many header seals either.
If you know how to fit properly it won’t leak.

Most roof leaks are not seal based.
It’s poor fitting practices.
There’s nuances to the MK1 hood.
