I have an 84 cab running on 14" steel wheels from new. I am looking for a set of BBS RA alloys to supliment them and have seen this advert.
Used Cars, Vans & Motorbikes for Sale | Gumtree
Are they suitable for my car? I'm not mechanically minded so not sure what's what if I'm being honest.
I know they need work done to them, but that's fine.
Any help or advice that you can give is greatly appreciated and thank you for your help and support.

Especially when you are parking it!
Although in motion there's very little difference.
I have them on my 1990 the same as a Sportline but without PAS and you really feel it.
If you then drive and park a Sportline which has PAS it's as light as feather.

Maybe that is why over hear the latter Cabriolets all came with power steering as they are a Girly CAR.Golf Cabrio said
Yeah there fine but be warned 15's although only slightly larger do make the steering feel heavy.

My Kids don't know the pleasure of non-powered steering…..
To the Original Poster, asking for opinions in a forum is like your wife putting on a pair of leggings and asking you the question "Do these make my Posterior look big?" to whit, you either get a Gee, thank you darling, or you awake in hospital with a large lump on your skull.
Here is a good example of what I mean.
