Settling In
Got myself a Mk1 Golf about to having a project car that I can work on and learn without having to worry about not having a car to go to work.
So here is my 82' mk1 Golf GTI, she is a 1.6 EG engine that needs a little bit of work (keeping it up to date)
Done:
- Clutch cable
- Brakes
-Rocker cover gasket
- Timing belt
- Full service
- Detailed-
New fusebox
- Fit amber indicators-
Fit Porsche door handles
To do:
- Fit Wolfsburg steering wheel
- Fit Mk2 gauges
- Fix horn
- Readjust steering rack (off center at mo)
- Get 15' P-slots refurbished
- Fit brake conversion (G60 front, Mk4 rear callipers)
- Source Original rear lights
- Source windscreen surround plastic
- Change headlights
- Refit rear lock and emblems

I have loads of plans for it but tim is limited so progress is very slow.

Is it a windscreen rubber or pillar trims your after? I have both if needed.

Also got new taillights…
Reason for the hold up was preparing the daily for its NCT (Irish MOT).
