Water hoses

I am in the process of returning my 83 gti tin top to a DX engined car, I have acquired a later model dx engine with the water cooled oil cooler which I would like to retain can anyone tell me which water hoses I should use? I have been looking at the Samco hose kit ones on heritage but they say they are for early cars. Any help would be appreciated

It's hard to see in the picture but the bottom hose on the oil cooler looks like this and fit's on the metal water pipe which runs around the engine.

you'll need mk2 golf hoses for the cooler, or late mk1 cabrio and scirocco. you may struggle to find a samco kit specifically though, probably have to get mk1 and mk2 gti kits then mix n match
