Today I made the rear bumper using a mk1 fiesta bumper as refuse to pay VW prices! Let me know what you think!!!








Next on list, do the front and at that point I will have only spent £10 on the bumpers!!

Painted these up today as had them kicking around the garage for a while but not too sure if I like them!!

I think that colour is going to be very fine on your car.. Maybe a test fit ? roll it out and try and see!

Got the new wheels on and kinda like them, just need to adjust camber on the front and drop it down a bit more but will need to remove helper springs I think!

They look pretty good mate those rims. Agreed it needs to sit a bit lower though

I knew it… very nice and just like you said ; maybe a bit lower.

Had a great day on the car today. Solved all my electrical faults, lowered the front and fixed on the front bumper. All in all a very productive day!!!!!

Your right, needs a bit more chrome up front to give it a bit more retro feel and the wheels are still bugging me  

Had good day on the cabby today, got all the little bits sorted with the electrics and now working bob on! Picked up new wheels through week so need to start on adapter plates and see if they will look good or if I have gone one mad Idea too far!!

So this is the plan for the wheels and I think it will work. 

Imagine the face of the disc drilled to 205 x 5 and bolted to the hub like so.  



There is enough clearance at the back for for the bolts to hold the new wheel on. 




The end product (after paint and hubcap) should look like this!!!

Interesting idea mate. As per the other thread a few issues with it working but it's good to be different. Keep us updated
