Electrics roof. Takes ages

Hi folks I have a 1991 with electric roof the roof is in very good condition undoubtly not the original but it seems to takes ages to close. I know I'm not meant to pull it but it must take about 2 minutes is that right or are my expectations its too high after the vw eos roofs spend.

Shouldn't take anything like 2 minutes. Have you checked the hydraulic fluid level in the reservoir on the roof motor?

Thanks lee I shall try and work it out but as I say I wasn't sure if I was expecting to much.
Dodgy electric window done and exhaust. Just reverse lights, lighting up the dash, slight oil leak and the roof to do…… For now

Definitely look at the fluid level.

If you've not got any, VW sell it and there's a 'How To' post as well because it's not as straight forward as it may appear!

Don't forget that they are a little slower in cold weather but not that slow.  :thumbs:

Levels all look good just below the maximum line. Any other thoughts please??
