Nice updates Chipster, love the look of your engine mate, it's well smart. Nice coillies too man
Thanks man hopefully once im got everything done ill give it a tidy up, i.e hide the wires and things a bit better cuz it looks a bit untidy compaired to when i got it back from crazy quiffs with last engine
Funily they were at gti international and got talking to them about the cabby they got, cut a long story short it was on ap coilovers and they were telling me how good the ride was and even tho it was pretty low the suspension still have a lot of give and that sold it for me ha ha ha
I hate goin to shows and stuff like that cuz im like a kid when i see summat i like cuz im like I WANT IT!!! Lol

well anyway….
made a plate and shaped it slighty to fit in the hole and welded a plate to the back to make an anchor point for the seatbelt
got it welded and tiger sealed in place, im not reealy to bothered how it looks as ull never see it once the seatbelt is in place and parcel shelf support
also bought this a while back, a mk1 sirocco wiper mech as the once that was on the car was a right bodge
got a bracket made up so that it can be mounted nicely inside the scuttle tray
got it tooked inside the tray nicely
just waiting on my raintray cover to be made so it looks a lot cleaner
also purchased one of these from the agm to represent when im driving
I got the ap coilovers fitted and am so much happier with how it sits now
that's all for now as ive got more bloody issues with my engine. hopefully one day I can finnaly get it sorted!!

first off I bought a new chrome vw badge
finally got my just caddys steering column back
got it all fitted and put back on
bought a brand new fuse box cuz im sure mine was on its way out
got a box of stuff in, mainly bought it cuz it came with all the fuses for the fuse box
and finally wat ive been waiting for wat seems like forever…….
thanks to smudger for letting me copy him this is a spot on piece of work
tried fitting it cuz im like a kid when it comes to new things lol it wasn't the best of fits but once Id got the seal on it pushed down a treat but there is one part where there is a gap put that's just me being picky
I didn't have any clips to hold it down on the other edge so I came up with an ingenius invention lol basically found another bonnet seal and used that, works a treat
that's all for a few weeks now cuz ive got a really annoying problem with the engine intake system, turns out that the airbox is too far forward and where I have dubilee clipped all the pipes together it had stretch the rubber pipe and split it, I cant move the air box any further than what it is so ive got to get a longer plastic pipe made up, so gonna be a few weeks before I can even think about the engine
but then once that is sorted ill be giving bert a bell cuz ive heard lots of good things about his work

I bought a abf dizzy cap and found the lugs on the side are too big to get the clips over so I heard somewhere that a 205 cap fits better which I found as u can see the difference between the both
but the problem with using the 205 cap is I had to change the ends on the leads to suit the cap
loads of room now
hopefully in the next week I can get this pipe sorted
ive also got another purchase ive got in the pipeline……… but what cud it be lol

they have already been polished which saves me a job, but I need to get the pcd changed on them as they are 5 x 112 standard
