Check the fuse for the power hood. It's right at the top of the fuse box and a bit of a pain to get out. Check the fluid level too. Or try wiggling the connection at the back of the switch. My hood only seems to works with the ignition 'on' but not with the engine running. Don't know why!
If you find the answer to the annoying 'ticking' let me know as mine does the same and I haven't got around to tackling it yet!
BTW welcome along.
Cheers

The rear brakes can be adjusted manually. There is a 'wedge' pin at the top which has a spring running down towards the bottom of the drum. If you gently wedge the tip of a screw driver in between the horizontal bar and the shoe you can lever it out a bit. This will cause the wedge to drop slightly hence pushing the shoe out a bit. Check that you can get the drum back on though! If it's goe to far you need to undo the spring and push the wedge back up a bit and try again.
Check the fuse for the power hood. It's right at the top of the fuse box and a bit of a pain to get out. Check the fluid level too. Or try wiggling the connection at the back of the switch. My hood only seems to works with the ignition 'on' but not with the engine running. Don't know why!
