Took the car to the trimmers today to get the interior stripped out.
Drivers seat has been left in and will be done when the car goes in again.
Just some pics while I was waiting.
Also found 2 concers under the back seat :dontknow:
Going to clean all the floor before the new carpet goes in as its quite dirty.
Cant wait to go there on dec 6th.

Had the day off work today so thought I would embrace the cold and do some work on the car before the interior goes back in monday.
I took the carpet and side panels out if the boot, the back seats are already out.
I then cleaned and polished any paintwork I could see.
Also hoovered out all dust and rubbish thats got down the side / back of the seats over the years (there was quite a bit)
Started to take the front carpet out to clean any rubbish away but it was all fine so left it in.
Then I decided to make new side cards and floor for the boot as the originals were battered.
Bought some thin sheets of wood from b&q for under a fiver.
The edges just need to be sanded smooth and two holes cut in the left 1and there ready to be trimmed to match the interior.alan perkins

I also had the boot cards and floor trimmed in blue cloth.
Just got to make a board to go up against the back seats and I can fit them all then.

Cheers mate.
I have got a big smile on my face.
Bought a cheap set of mats earlier today.
Drove it with no shoes on yesterday just so I didnt get it dirty.
As for the foam base, I didnt go for a new one as the dealers only had one left so it would have been odd.
I am however on the lookout for some good 2nd hand ones and the trimmers are going to to the bases again for free.
Ive got all the old material aswell mate, ill sort it the weeend if you still want it.
