Yep the block is from a passat but was converted to run in a mk1 caddy, me being an idiot forgot to photo that part when he took it out.ill post a pic anyways once in registered on imageshack

Also some of the diagrams and other guides i've been through theres a pipe coming from the cam cover… my cam cover dosent have an outlet?? where would i get that from?
Edit : The most common way seems to be.. Crank breather T'd with rocker cover - catch can - TIP/Vented… but is that the best way?? + as, i say i don't have a rocker cover outlet, would it just come straight from the Block breather??

Im in the same boat as you I have only a crank breather and no head/cam cover outlet. Same engine also.
I asked a mate who races skylines and he said catch tanks are required for med-high boost applications. If your running it stock then.you can just leave a small drain pipe from the crank breather to atmosphere. You'll apparently get maybe 1 or 2 drops of oil on your drive per day depending on how you use it. Also dependant on ecu.
do you have the pcv system in place?

Haha yea so it seems.. up stream with out a paddle! lol
How you getting along with your AEB conversion?? you say the engine was all ready to go?
I have most/all the VAC piping, its just not on the engine, and i would rather get rid of it to be fair
![:)](https://vwgolfmk1.org.uk/themes/default/images/ocf_emoticons/smile.png)
So in theory you could just stick a vented botle on the end of that crank breather and that would be enough??
Or even vent to the TIP? would that need a one way valve on or anything?
I think i'll be going Meggasquirt engine managment? cross that bridge when i get to it! lol

Here's what I'm thinkin for mine and
seeing as you're going for track use, then id put a pipe to a catch tank with vent to atm, possibly with mini filter and that's it.
Don't route it to your TIP as its horrible yellowsludgy crap that comes through there, its oil vapour and water vapour. Makes me ill.
I bought my engine as a complete conversion with emerald and it had no vac piping. Just brake servo and map sensor stuff, from the inlet manifold.
I say complete conversion when I really mean not a complete conversion at all, plus I decided to respray the bay. Nearly there however just fuel pumps and brakes to go plus a quick service. Hoping its done before I get snow….ye right!
