West Wales Newbie!
Hopefully picking up a really nice 1983 1.3 driver at the end of next week. Don't know that much about mk1s but i am learning… An old man that lives on my post round bought it new from a local dealer.
Its only done 69k! Been stood indoors for a year so needs a few bits for MoT but looks pretty clean and starts nice.
To be honest I wasn't really looking for a mk1 but came across this bloke washing it a few days ago, I had a quick look and chatted to him, he said he would sell it to me if i was interested, which i am lol.
Just gotta check it over again and have a look underneath one day this week and give him a price (…and hopefully get a bargain ) Can't wait!
Im so excited haha I just want to go see it again now!
Anyway heres a couple of pics i took with my crapberry!
Let me know what you think!
Also the colour code may come in handy one day!
Thanks, will keep you posted!
Ash.

I haven't actually paid for it yet but i will be picking it up on saturday! Im so excited!
Good news - the underneath inspection went very well indeed! Front valance is all good, both sills have been patched up previously at the rear but will be ok for this summer i think, I will want to replace them at some point though.
The worst bit of bodywork was the lower rear valance which had been patched up at either end, and does look a bit bodged to be honest! So going to buy a new one i think just to tidy it up a bit.
Overall i think its very good for a totally original mk1
I shall update when i get her home!
Cheers, Ash.

Haven't had time to wash her yet will do end of the week, and give her a good T-cut!
Worst of the bodywork-
The Sills-

Also, how much would you have payed for her? I'm keen to know what she's worth and how much of a bargain I had!
