Looks good, great work so far!, glad you are keeping the standard
seats etc.. too many people strip the character out of these old

im not a massive brown fan haha!
 but its just sound deadening so wont be seen anyway

the vw badge is a tax disk holder i belive, not 100% where its apeared from but i kinda like it so it may well get used

aye, lots of progress going on, was dreading the engine, as ive done everything else by myself, apart from the dash but Christopher just went mad and did it all for me haha

got myself a 2nd dash to experement with now too so could see something interesting soon

where is this workshop, i wanna came see!  is the the car that found it's way to the mk1 oc annual meet?

and yes it is haha… on the back of the truck…

we were on the way home from picking it up… thought it would have been rude not to take it to its 1st meet

Well not a massive update but an update non the less

the bay now look like this wooo…
taken what feels like forever to get it even to this stage and there is stilla  heck of a lot that needs doing in the bay alone!
but finally all brackets, cips, battry trays and what not removed



on the o/s there is a indentation in the inner arch, i assume this is for a pipe or something, Golf gt on here removed his and suggested i should do the same…. to a went mad with a big hammer and ttaaaa daaaa



although im not fully smoothing the bay (even tho i would love to) i think these little bits will make a world of difference

i also started cleabing and spraying the brackets and mounts

And only a fraction of the goodies mr postman brought this week,
mk kitchen table is stacked high with parcels now… and yet more is due :s

i started on sat, then chris n rick last night at it like a pair of absolubte troopers!
cant thank them enough!

so the mk1 now has a engine

everything else off the polo is for sale apart from the bits already gone if anytones interested in anything?

well todays been pretty un productive,

also got these handles off ebay but i think they look tacky and wouldnt match the rest of the interior, so went aboutsorting that out..
