Ahh I see, looks beautiful around there though.

Top gear have filmed a few cars up the black mountains.
Fantastic driving roads.
Some parts you can see for miles so you get to use all the road then ;-)

I was tempted to book in for a stainless exhaust when I saw yours, but then my road tax reminder came through.
It'll have to wait for now. BTW I can get some OE spec floor mats for you if your interested? I had some made for mine a while back:
They should be able to do cream ones and have the template I supplied from some genuine mats on file now. They cost me £30, let me know if your interested.

GavB95 - the cream mats I made the other day are pretty good but I would be interested in a set of them, if you can get cream.
Let me know.
Cheers.

Woke up at 8:30 sun was beaming down so thought i would go clean the car then go for a drive with the roof down.
This week it has rained really bad for most parts.
Opened my passenger door to be greeted to see the footwell was quite wet
It must have happened during all the bad rain we have had.
Anyway i decided i was going to take the seat out aswell as the carpet (misses rolls her eyes as ive never worked on a car myself)
Out came the toolbox, seat came out easier than i thought and the carpet was the same.
Took the carpet out and it was soaking wet.
Spent about an hour drying everything and making sure there was no water there whatsoever.
Fitted it all back together and fully valeted the car.
Stumped as to how the water got in i popped the bonnet to find the passenger drain hole completly filled with leaves and rubbish
Cleaned it all out so that should have cured that.
After all that i armed myself with a good digital camera rather than my camera phone and headed for the mountains to relax with the misses.
Oh i also fitted my black VW center caps to my wheels.
This is the scenery when driving through the mountains, the roads are silky smooth.
There were plenty of these flying round aswell

Photos are spot on the motor looks great and dry!
Are you sure you weren't in Scotland when taking the snaps ?
How's the exhaust as I might get mine after the hols in July ?
Also found the AUG gearbox that originally came on the car so getting it in next few weeks and then going to get it refurbed and get it fitted along with a full linkage kit and got the diesel rear gearbox mount as well to put on when I am at it.
Money pit or what !

A decent camera makes all the difference.
The exhaust is great mate, even better when the roof is down.
Its quiet when I want it to be and louder when I put my foot down.
Lovely sound when idling.
How much is all that going to set you back?
Money pit indeed.

I love all the little touches, everything you have done has complimented the car so well.
But unfortunately I do have some horrible memories of nights spent on stag in the freezing cold and soaking wet rain on the black mountains from my military days! Still a lovely part of the island tho ey?
