For Sale
Long story short I moved it to my house in the March of 2010. During the interim period I have amassed several body panels which need replacing.
I have stripped the interior out including the carpet - the front wings, windscreen, boot and lots of other parts have been stripped in an indeavour to find out if there is any hidden rust spots.
I am now at a sticking point as I haven't got a welder and am struggling to find a bodyshop who will actually come and look at it to give me a quote.
I will try and work out how to post pictures so you can all see what I'm dealing with and if anyone has any input on how / what I should do I'd appreciate the opinion.
***Amended***Will move to classifieds later tonight

A few photos
The night I had it towed on a flat bed to my house due to brakes being ruined and so not able to tow it
The strip down commences (I have now realised I've lost all the pictures of stripping the interior)

I wish that someone would give me a 'N' plate swallowtail as a freebie, no matter the condition…

i figured i'll do it myself, its cost me £50, and if i get it very wrong i'll break it for parts and get my money back.
My build thread
Get yourself a cheap ish welder - £150 will get you started.. do a bit of practicing and have a flick through a few books and off you go!The key is in the prep work.. if the metal is clean and keyed up well with a grinder, or corse sand paper it will weld nicely.
If i had paid anyone to do my car it wouldn't of been worth me starting.
Good luck with it!

Teach yourself to weld, do the easy bits first. If you mess it up, then you can always grind the panels off and do it again…..
Agree - Buy as cheap a wlder that is up to the job and go for it!
