it dont rub until go round a corner or abit of weight in back. is there same i can do to stop it like put harder spring on (which ones or make )
where to get from . and dont say put 16inch on . lol :dontknow: :dontknow: or i will have to put up with it .

To keep the same overall diameter you will need 215x35x17 tyres. For width you will find that anything over 7.5J will catch.
It will be horrible to drive due to the lack of give in such a low profile tyre, causing snatching and tram lining.

thay are 205/40 zr 17 84 w xl , before i bought them got them to check first if thay would fit in the book etc

thats not nice mate i get the point sell the 17inch and go for 16inch seen a mk1 cabby with 17inch on round the corner from me moved now

That's a really nice looking car mate - I think everyone when hearing 17"s on a Mk1 imagines that it is a bit boy racer but that looks sweet.
It's a shame they're scrubbing.
I'm surprised by the 'haters' that have come out on this thread. I wonder if their cars are as nice?
