my twins well there is three years between mine and two different gti engine sizes

Sadly I don't have a picture of my hard top and cabby parked next to each other  (and being as the hard top is in a garage 380 miles away it won't be a while before I get one! lol)

Loving that pair of Series 1 beauties!  You're spoiled for choice!

My mate and I used to both own Mars Red 3-door Mk1's with twin lamps in them, we used to go places in convoy just because of the looks they got!

Are the steel wheels just painted silver or do they have a lacquered top coat ? How did they come from the factory ?

No lacquer coat originally, though a good idea for protection

Yep, YFB has the factory option alloys. One day I will assemble a complete family photo!!

I am proud mate, thats why i sold the common GTI and got the 5dr..  :mrgreen:  :mrgreen:  :mrgreen:  :mrgreen:

This is the only photo I have of all mine together when I still had the Caddy :cry: . You can just see the rear of the GTI in the garage. One for work, one for show and one for go….

I feel a sad day coming...
