'83 Candy White Mk1 - ABF Inside

After years of jap ownership and dying to scratch that VW itch, i finally succumbed to buying myself a piece of the action. I had been browsing for ages when this one came up trumps and the rest is history.

22mm Brake Servo
Vented and drilled 239 Discs

Black Trims (Swapping to chrome soon)
Bumpless (On the look out for Chrome metal bumpers)

Finally got round to tidying the front end up a little bit after purchasing some goodies from Big Boys Toys. Started off by removing the indicators and hiding them behind the bodywork. Them moved onto striping the red paint off the grill surround as it was flacking off in places (might get it chrome coated or get some new ones), then replacing the white VW badge with a nice shiny chrome one. Next weekend i shall be putting on my new handles and chrome waist line :D

Also fitted an alloy petrol cap due to the old black plastic one not locking grrr

8) Looking good, can't go wrong with ATS classics!

It's pretty quick mate I'm just getting used to the gearbox (will re-bush that asap). Shocked me at first but I'm kinda of  getting used to it, problem is it doesn't feel quick but once you look at the speedo o dear ;)

Its been a while since ive updated this thread, sorry
im more of a browser

Just before RTTS i bought a set of 7inch ATS Classics for the front with some bridgestone rubber and then had countless issues with the fuel pump dieing, replacing all the fixtures connected to the fuel pump and then replacing the fuel board that had seen better days (due to my error oops but enough on that hehe)

In July i started to speak to someone on facebook who mentioned he might have some tombstones for sale a couple of weeks later i finally see a photo and snapped them up pretty sharpish for a bit of a bargin. Just spotted the rear arch needs repairing after a bad repair from the previous owner so she will be winging her way down to Phoenix Autobodies in Cannock to be repaired and a blowover (tempted with a colour change eek)

Quick Iphone snap of the seats
