Number plate lights

I'm sorting out all my lights and the only ones not working now are number plate bulbs. I've gone to check the wiring and all I can see is a green/white wire connecting just them two bulbs but no feed in. So where would be best to take a feed from to wire them in ?

Been a while since I looked at them but isnt that green the live and the holders earth to the body?

green/white is the feed as above, the earth just runs to the chassis somewhere

Yeah that links the two. I've sorted it now took a feed from the rear lights and they come on when my lights do. Thanks appreciated for responding 

ah i see, the green/white wire will come up with the main rear loom then across to the bulbs, plus a short run of green/white to link the 2. if its not in the rear loom it must have been chopped out for some reason
