Headlight switch powers heated seats?! WTH?!

So after about 2 days of arsing about with relays, switches and diagrams ive finally sussed that my heated seats wiring does work and switches on the controllers (woohoo) …….but only when the headlight switch is on will i get a live feed to the back of the heated seat switch?!?! 

It took a while to get there with the multimeter but has anyone had this before? A common fault or just another pain to suss out?

someone has obviously been messing. check where the ign live feed is coming from, it may just be it fell off the G spade on the back of the fusebox at some point and it was put back on in the wrong place!

not all the G spades are ignition live, some are lights on, dash lights,. wipers etc. It needs to be on G spade 1, 2, 3 or 5.
