18 Mk1 Golfs!!!!!! Lots of sunny weather! Busy and well attended by others! Bonkers aero engines! Massive autojumble!

Great to meet and chat with some new faces, as well as the existing people I knew. Many thanks and well done to Gammygolfgti for organising this, and taking the new club record for best attended club stand.

Gammy, thanks for the compliment a few speed bumps on the way early on but I've had a good fun life so far maybe that helps.

Me and the wife had a terrific day & it was nice to meet you as you were a good host and a gentleman.

Big respect to all that attended and those making us two Nottingham folk feel welcolme ( ps I am originally from Handsworth so I did understand the accents)
We will catch up soon.

Thanks again Carl.

Slept like a kitten last night, t'was good camping on the Saturday night, but you cant beat bricks and mortar and a 14 tog quilt during these not so warm April nights   , think I might do the weekend thing with tents at the back of the stand next year……..a few beers during the day/night would have gone down well yesterday    .
