JOY TURNED SOUR :(

Hi all, went to my first VW Show today
Volkfest @ north Weald aerodrome
Had a great time,enjoyed the day,
Untill I returned to my car, some theiving
Person had taken 2 of my centre caps
Of my bbs,more disappointed than angry
Thinking we were all there as one, but unfortunately there are scumbags where ever you go😡,but still had a good time till
Then, & look forward to more shows.Vagfest was a relaxed & chilled show, & well organised.

If I see any up for sale I'll give you a shout, like many I guess!  

To be honest I am so, so paranoid about mine that I had an alarm system fitted that uses 'Micro Waves' inside and out.

Anyone who approaches within 2ft of mine will get a warning. If they stay there long enough, all HELL will brake loose.  
That and it has a tilt sensor, so don't even think about jacking it up and having the wheels!  

Not only that but when the alarm goes off it cut power to the fuel pump from within the dash (control system is there as well).
It would take days for someone to work out how to fire up the engine!

Is your alarm one of whose which shouts at you to move away from the vehicle - I've seem one of these in action and they are very loud and very annoying once they've gone off.
If it does shout at you, in which language - English or German ?

No mines a bit more subtle than that I'd say.
When you get within two feet of the car it chirps at you four times just to give you a warning.  
Now that you can hear from about 70m's away, which is good because I park it very close to my apartment and have the window in tilt all night. So I know when someone or something gets to close to it.

As for the language, I think it's English, south coast may be because I bought it down that way.
Also when it is very hot and it does get hot here, it's seems to be more Welsh if you ask me!
