NWM 17 - UPDATE with date & place!

Is there any interest in launching an all-new, revamped and relocated (possibly, depending on where people are) meet? I'm in Cheshire, if you're interested, let us know and tell us where you are too…..

We've now set a date, time and place for this meet:

Time: 1pm
Place: Preston Brook pub, 1 mile from M56 J11.</b>

Come off M56 at J11, follow A56 (away from Warrington) to Preston Brook, drive through the village of Preston Brook (30 speed limit) for around 1 mile, then the pub is on the right, shortly after passing the O2 building (which has a roundabout turn off) then crossing a bus lane.

I'm deffinately up for the meet but only when i've got my Golf on the road which should be in a few months yet though but i don't mind where it is held, i don't mind travelling.

Where does everyone else want it to be held?

Numbers attending dropped off…last meet was Nov 5th.

I was wondering when you'd pop up with the relocate NWM suggestions!!!!

I think the number dwindled due to the winter. AS said before its down to the majority as to where thet are held.

We need another show of hands to find out who is interested and where they are based and then go from there.

Crazyquiff does complete lock sets, I think.

I need a locksmith really, i've tried the magnet and superglue but neither worked, I cant even get into my car!!

Its a cabby! Just used a wire coathanger bent into a particular shape, and stick it in the gap between rollover bar and the glass!!!!

My mk1 isnt going to be finished until the end of this years show season so pointless me turning up in my Polo GTi in the meantime!

Lets get them meets goin again by how we use to do it. Wiggan tree is ok but if there's any other suggestions bring em to the table PAUL. Have it on a Sun afternoon 1pm will do then suggest a date 28th Jan then see who's available?

Why too soon? If we did the 27th jan then it 2 weeks away and folk can work around it.

Why put things off?

Dubfreeze is in Feburary and Ultimate Dubs in March so people may want ot go to those instead.

I think there's lots of people in the NW who have never been to a meet and there's a fair number based in Manchester/Cheshire area, rather than Lancashire. Also I think its a winter thing, so its worth waiting for springtime, ie early March. So we could meet a week or two before Ultimate Dubs???
