Quick rack

I'm going to get a quick rack for my mk1 that has mk2 hubs, so do I need a mk1 or mk2 quick rack? cheers.

MK1 rack and whatever track rods you use to mate it to your Mk2 hub. I would have thought a quick rack is not really suitable for road use through ...

Would power steering be better?

sorry to be bringing up an old thread but can anyone give me reasons why a quick rack would not be ideal for road driving and maybe the odd track day, has anyone got any experience of driving with a quaife rack on the road any info would be great as im looking into one for my golf

Will make for heavy steering, probably ok on track but pain on the road, depending on usage.
