Wothersee 2014 !!!!

Following on from the laughs and fun of the trip to Wolfsburg I intend to do one to Worthersee in May of 2014.

This will be a week long event and will incorporate the Wolfsburg experience dates are as yet not known but I have sent emails already to see

1, about worthersee and availability for us
2, Wolfsburg for extended tours due to what happened this time around plus the culmination of the 40th anniversary of the mk1 golf.

So any paid member wishing to attend come forward and say……….

I must be crazy to do this so soon after Wolfsburg  !!!!

Also my birthday is in May so it could get messy, i still havnt had a beer with a handle !

Someone has also suggested Ireland Ginner, you've already had a go and success at arranging one trip, might as well arrange two hey ;-) lol

I'm still on the hunt for the right mk1 but I'm hopeful I'll have found one by then and will be a member too.

Count me in pending mk1 ownership.

What do you know about the Austrian clamp down on modified cars ? I have heard several reports of car seizures and a no nonsense get it recovered to somewhere other than Austria.
They particularly hate lowered vehicles I believe.

To be honest I'm not sure but I'll find out in the coming days and post it up!
I see Mod's all the time over here, it's seems the lower your car is and the bigger your exhaust, the higher up the food chain you are.  :tank:

It's MOD heaven. I just had a quick l@@k and most of the cars I saw have number plates and are therefore should be street legal.
Our MOT over here is fairly tough.

Worthersee is a big deal over here. I've not been yet but I do know it attracts cars and visitors from all over Europe.
Our kind and most understanding Police force can't lock um all up!
(just in case someone's reading this)

That's handy and I've got friends in low places as well but they don't go as far as the mountains.
But if anyone was to drive down the hill to Vienna, well now, that's a different story!
