Lots of MK1 Cabriolet parts from 70K 1990 Australian Car + others

I hope this isn't frowned upon, but i've been buying MK1 Cabriolet's in Australia, mainly for parts for my 20VT project. I've got a lot left over and the market in Aus for Old VWs is pretty small, so I've brought a lot of parts to the UK to sell. There's a lot of great condition parts from a car that had only travelled 119K KMs - which is around 70k miles. Obviously there are no salted roads in Aus so no parts are corroded. I've actually just started an eBay shop to make it easier to keep everything together and organised - http://stores.ebay.co.uk/northwestvwparts

I'm offering a 15% discount of any 'Buy it Now' prices to any forum users who approach me through eBay or here, but the sale must be outside of ebay and paypal (excl Paypal Gift) so if you want to pick an item up or send a cheque, bank transfer for Paypal Gift. I can do 10% discount if you pay normally with Paypal for your peace of mind. If you think I'm overpricing items - please make me an offer, I'm just going off what I've sold parts for in the past and competively pricing against other Parts Shops (some of my parts are half what others try and get).

I've just bought another Cabriolet too - this one was a late 93 build - Auto trans, 110K Miles. I'm hoping to bring parts from this over in April/May if you need anything that isn't in the store. I'm about to put on some clipper arches, rear carpet, washer bottle+motor+hose and other items.

Thanks guys.

James

I actually do have one in Aus - from a Scirroco 16v - I was going to use it on my build, get it powdercoated etc. But If I change my mind I'll let you know!

We are located at CW12 2LL - which is near Congleton, Cheshire. 5 mins from J18 off the M6 - 30 mins from Manchester and Stoke-on-Trent.

Thanks.

Hi guys - got another Cabriolet - this time it's a late 1993 model 170km which is just over 100k miles - it's in very good condition though - drove it home from Sydney to Albury which is over 300 miles - 40 degree heat and was perfect, didn't miss a beat. It's had no issues whatsoever, but has quite heavy damage to the body which is why I'm breaking it. Let me know if there's anything you want bringing over and I'll have them there with my next shipment in 2 weeks.

Would you be able to cut the screen frame from the one which has body damage?. Need ns lower repair panel and think it will be easier to cut one and weld it back onto mine
