Mk1 all white cabby help

Hi guys I have I think an all white cabby but looking on the specs it should only have a 1800 cc engine and a black carpet mine has got a 2000 cc engine and a blue carpet whitch matches the White seats with the blue check can this be a real all white reg is d210got not sur after reading the specs

The 2000 engine would have been fitted later, either upgrading existing 1800 or a swap from later VW. I thought from your other posts car was 1984, but as its a D Reg then an 87 model, so likely to be a Quartet.  As you could mix and match theses, white paint, white hood white seats or white paint, blue hood, blue seats I would guess that carpet may have been blue on these as would have matched nicely and also suited the sapphire and Helios blue cars.

This would have also had colour keyed 14inch 'Scala' alloys, which looks a bit like you have from your Avatar pic,

Yes the log book says 1984 and 2000cc it does have the scala wheels on her confused lol 

How shall I put this… Are you sure about the authenticity of the log book, as the DVLA has it listed as. Registered  14th May 1987, and as an 1800?  Do VIN numbers and engine numbers match up?

Will check the numbers on the car tomoz when I'm with it but logbook came from Dvla
