Hi Guys

Yesturday i was drilling holes on my firewall near the carburetor to put a replacement plate for the clutch cable. After completing it, i tried to start the car but it refused to, car was swinging but refused to start.

I will appriciate any advice on what to check to sort my problem out

Caught any wires with the drill? Moved any wires/fuel lines to get at the firewall?

Have you knocked any wires off the coil? - even if you think you haven't, try pushing them all on tightly

Thanks for that Guys. . . after checking all the wires and all was correct. i then decided to check the timing and noticed my distributor timing was off. So i reset it and the car started fine, i noticed that my cam belt was loose, that could have caused the distributor pulley to go off
