Yeah. I sent him the golf+ mag that I had on it that was gathering dust in my drawer.  Bit suspicious seeing as he's only had it a couple of months. Looks awesome though  

It's my car and yes my 6th one in 20 years me and my partner did a road trip last year in a porsche and wanted to do another road trip this year so we or should I say I decided to buy this mk1 in the hope of doing it.The problem is the car has been idle in a garage for the last 5 years and as soon as I got it things went wrong.The dizzy and points the servo due to air leak then the carb siezed up so a new weber had to be fitted.But the nail in the coffin was after entering the car in show and shine at agm I jacked the car up lubricated all suspension  even waxed the underside and arches after 4 hours we went on 30 mile drive and on the way home the car spat all the gearbox oil all over the engine bay and the CV gaiter split spitting grease all over the arch.If I had of had a hammer handy the car would of got a beating.So I missed agm have lost confidence in the car spent about a grand so far fixing things and finally got it back from crazy quiffs after various seals drive shaft and CV gaiter and top hoses replaced. THe short story is we need a newer car for any road trip.

But if anyone does want to look not even to buy feel free to pop along to see it in the metal it is awesome .I am only located in a little village near rugby so handy for Northampton and west midlands.
