Buying a mig welder any recommendations?

Have a budget of £700 but of course don't mean I need to spend that..
Thou im happy with a decent mig anyone used these 3 in 1 welders?

Ive been using a cebora mig welder for years its same company that makes them for snap-on tools dont bother with the 3 in 1's anything thats multi purpose is never up to much clarke migs aint bad for the money though i have a gasless one which i use for outside the garage

what you going to be using it for mainly?

i bought a 135te clarke welder and it have proformed faultlessly for years now

i use the little bolted and never had an issue with them, with the amount of welding i do it works out about the same as a large bottle :)

I 2nd the Clarke 135TE, I've done a full resto using mine. It's not so good for fine tuning as it only has 4 settings but I managed ok with it.

Chassis and bodywork on on my mk1 and future projects, I had a 110 Clarke welder and it was poo :/

Ive got an SIP MIGmate.. its still welds (ten years on) but wouldn't buy another, the wire is forever getting jammed, and its a pig to re-feed it!

Thinking about an upgrade at some point, so will stay tuned.

why dont you just change a trigger for a decent one and also change the line, its what i done with my sip
