 Description: LHD mk1 golf 1.5ls registered 1975 restored in original marino yellow paintwork, original bronze tint glass, black basket weave low back seats in excellent condititon.
All standard engine rebuilt in holland by original owner during restoration, 5 speed gearbox from mk1 gti, as new porsche 16" bbs rs wheels with new toyo proxes 195/40/16 tyres, narrowed rear axle fitted with h&r adapters, front hubs custom made with 5x130 pcd to run without adapters, kw coilover suspension all round, modified fronts for wheel fitment, custom front brake conversion feauturing mk1 gti calipers and 310mm wilwood vented discs with custom made mounting bells and brackets, lower strut brace, reinforced sump

With much regret i have been forced to put my mk1 swallowtail up for sale.
The car is well known and has been mag feautured here and abroad.
Recently engine/bay has been detailed with many parts restored.

The car took custom and concours class win at the gti summer festival and third place at dc09 with an unprepared engine/bay.
