First flick of the key and she's alive, so I treated her to a wash
I popped to my local garage and asked to use there gas analyser to set the CO. Turned it down from a whopping 7.4% to 2.0%. Runs lovely and smooth from cold and from hot.
Pulled up at the local watering hole filled her up and set off for the maiden voyage..
No issues as of yet.. 🤔

It's been a while since my last post and a lots changed..
The Dcoe's have now been removed, mainly because they are a pain!! I got fed up with them and decided I'm going back to k jet for the time being.
I had all the bits anyway and thought id start cleaning them and have a go at polishing
Not bad for my first attempt
I removed the hole carb setup including the loom. I had another ce1 16v loom kicking about, Just need to be shortening and lengthened as the mk2 fuse box comes in the opposite side.
With help from rubjohn (as we all have) I got it all wired up

That was one of the options but then it would need a modified loom and I just could be bothered with all that, with the dcoe's it's just a case of tuning them. Then if I add cams for example it's just a re tune on the rollers again! No messing easy tuning
They have been delivered and the nice guy has changed the internals for the spec of my engine so today is going to be a fun filled day
Iv re fitted the 16v loom and ecu already so just a case of bolting these bad boys on
