Nice work!

More progress, shouldn't be long eh!

Wish my welding was up to your standards, think it's my tiny set im using, welds fine with torch facing down, but as soon as you go to weld something on a vertical surface it goes crappy, like it aint got the power?

Where abouts are you from then exactly, cause I'm hunting for people around here at the minute, if you wouldn't mind have a look at this?

hi me again with more pictures of my progress today (sunday 17th august) seem to be very motivated today and got i think alot done.

today i managed to get my rear arches stonechipped which meant shocks off, fuel filler pipe off and inner drivers sheild off.

then i masked out the lower engine bay so i could stonechip that as standard.

then finally i tackled the passenger side sill area and floor as my jacking points had took a beating and been squashed so i rebuilt them and sorted a few holes in the floor which in the end i cut and peeled back so i could get it repaired well.

rear arche only one forgot otherside pic, before stonechip

after pass side

lower after front view

lower engine after drivers

lower engine pass after

shocks before clean

thanks for looking the full suspension may be up for grabs soon as i am thinking of going for some coilovers so keep an eye out they are gmax 40mm lowered

cheers

hi tom thanks for the comments and yes got alot on at the moment lol.the stonechip i m using is i think called master guard and it comes in grey black and white and paintable in 30 mins but it comes in cans that ypu put on a pray gun attachment and put it on with a compresser so tricky if doing the job at home but excellent results

hi, it s been a while since i updated but things have moved along.

basically things have moved along but as usual found a few more areas that needed attention. i had to remove fuel tank and rear axle as near there mounts there was some corrosion nothing to major but thought i would sort it out anyway. while they are off the rear axlee and fuel tank are been painted the under side of the car has been coated with kent rubber coat which seems to be a great product. need to replace the fuel lines as they were corroded and the one snapped so they need doing. also found a bit of weak metal on the rear of the sill so i have rebuilt it with new metal and cut out the old rusty stuff. also have stone chipped the one sill not sure whether its to high up the side yet but if anyone has any views feel free to give your opinion.

heres some pics

the sill stonechipped

rear axle mount area corrosion drivers side before

rear axle mount passenger side before

rear axle passenger when area cut out

under fuel tank before adding protection

fuel tank before paint

thanks for looking any input greatly recieved
