i'm sure you'll need a new rear panel to fit s1 rear lights, but i could be wrong..

i think all you need to get that awesome-tastic now is some ATS cups:

whaddya think?

Yeah you are right about the S1 rear. A guy here in RSA did the conversion but didn't convert his rear to the S1 rear and he did a good enough job that it looks quite decent!!! I'll be sure to ask his advice on it all.

As for the rims, if only!!! Here in South Africa, getting your hands on a set isn't easy and it's very expensive. Though I must say, over th past year I've seen quite a few seting being sold. I've only seen a set of Cups once and it was at quite a distance. They really are the perfect rim for the MK1!!! 8)

I was thinking of maybe shelling out the cash for a set of Lens BSX's. My buddy got a set adn at a fair price too. I just LOOOOOOOOOOOOOve them!

Or maybe even these would be cool! 15" off a VW Caravelle. Pitty they 5 stud though….

Arches are all on and looking sick! Bought an electric polisher the weekend and gave my car a good polish. Really brought back the shine in the paint. The fenders needed it bad, they were looking a bit dull. Just a few pics to show it now. Looks nice with all the black detailed as well!

As you can see, looking lovely! This is also and idea of mine I Photo Shopped. To spray the inner part of the rims black. I quite like it so I'll do it!

Just a cool B&W. So muuch nicer with the front arches on! Completion!

Ok, heh. SUPER BORED at work so I did this Photoshop   Feeling festive and thought, ahhh shame, poor car! Has to live with it's "dark fenders", so I did this for a laugh. I like it, my car is THE DARK FENDER!!!!!!!    8)

Also did my signature today at work. I'm king of Monte Carlo lol! Just that no one is driving the car

I managed to find two EU ones. One from the scrap yard. An original VW one untouched and in the original primer!!! Was so stoked about that! The other came off of a Citi Sport. See the pic below. Here in RSA we had these back in the day and they have all the nice old bits! Old fenders, bumpers, grills, beading  :banghead:

Decided to have a go at making a rig for shooting cars. TRICKY!!! Used my tripod at first but it has it's limitations. Made a rig from plastic piping but it wasn't much of a success, well it worked just not very versatile. Managed to get some great shots I must admit. Car was a bit vuil but oh well… These are the ones that came out nice. Me doing 120kph in my dads garage  8)  Watch this space, I'm not giving up!    I reckon mounting a rig on the chassis FTW!!!! I'm sure I can whip up something.

Yeah man, bringing sexy back!!!

Dyno?!

Lol, kinda funny this one :)

FTW!

I'm not 100% sure but I think it was between late 80's early 90's…
