The police ave got some footage of a white transit type flat back tuck with my car on the back of it but they are unable to see the reg number.

hi mate.  the car may be around the killamarsh area!  I have a mk1 in mars red exactly the same, went to fill her up at the ESSO station near halfway and the guy behind the counter started avin a go at me saying that the day befor i filled up and drove off without paying, wasnt me tho.  He was saying that the car was exactly the same as mine, colour and everything!  I'll keep my eyes open for you mate.

Please let me know if you see anything.

sorry to hear this mate i hope you get your car back and the people who took it get hurt. i will keep my eyes open as im sure everyone else will. i hope you get it back and i hope the police are better with you than they were with us when we had a break in. good luck mate

Can you not find out which petrol station this was, and get them to go through their CCTV at the time?

I have tryed to phone them but their number seems to be a fax so i an going to drive over to them and find out if they have cctv.

I have been over to the petrol station and they didn't seem to know anything about it!!!!

Dirty Bar stewards.  Good luck with the hunt for your car.  Have the Police checked ANPR to see wheher your car has pinged any of their cameras.

not too far away , does your car have anything that you would recognise as being your car, ie any scratches, dents ect ,,, i will keep my eyes open

the bottom half of the car has been repainted and is a slightly different colour but you can only really see the under unnatural light ie in a petrol station at night.
both the wings needed replacing they have stated to rot,

wow didnt realise the were till nickable !!!!

I'll keep an eye out while i'm searching for a mk1 to buy myself.

It seems thats the police have washed their hands of it, i thought i might have found my seats on ebay but it turns out that they wern't  mine.
So i dont think that i will be seeing it again (GUTTED)
But please keep your eye's open you never know!

Youve gotta think what goes through peoples heads to steal a car like that… but the worst thing is that the police have given up 8O.. and the stupid idiots have got away with it, ill keep my eye out on the bay and in the small ads (never know where itll end up)

Gutted for you mate, my parents live in Killamarsh and I recon I know the guy who has the other red golf you mentioned. Next time I drive past that Esso, I'll pop in and make sure they dont know owt about it, just in case.

So glad mine stays in the garage 24/7, especially being so close to rotherham etc.

Theiving dirty scrumbags, they should all die!!!!! Cant believe that people still pinch these cars in this day in age. Thought the usual trend nowdays was to just kick in your front door while your in the house and "ask" for your keys!
