got a tin top kriss,and its about 10 mins from junction 14, the car parks over the road from pub ,its a nice pub tho,got my website under ny name we do food aswell,just a sugestion,who,s spraying your car mate as i will be looking for someone to do some work on mine

Matthews and Bearcroft in forest-of-dean.  They are superb, such a great place and they have always done the work for less than quoted.

Not sure how accessable yours will be for most people, although it looks a crackin pub :wink:

We are looking at a week on Sunday for the meet, so need a show of hands and preference for location.

As we haven't had a meet for AGES it would be nice to pull out all the stops and go for it.  Even if your mk1 is off the road, don't worry just turn up.  I'm going to have to go in my mk2 gti 16v as its going to be my daily runner over the winter.

I will go on a few other sites and see if i can get any interest.

cribbs would be good for me

cribbs is fine with me, although wife will want to go to ikea as well (better hide her plastic )

Is there a pub we could go to at Cribbs?  Would be nice to have a natter and a pint :wink:

My mk1 has just had the welding done.  I've managed to get a mint tailgate, as the other one was a bit corroded.  I should be getting sprayed up next month Also having the decals put on and new badges.  I've fixed the little bit of corossion near the sunroof and its getting a proper touch up professionally.  By time i finished all these bits n bobs, probably cost me best part of a grand    

Cheers kriss, the paints a little weathered now, could do with a good detail really, but still looks lovely. Yeah 16v power soon, will have to pop down to a meet, when ive got it running

Gald yours is getting sorted, remembered the sunroof rot, better now it's done. Look forward to seeing it again, i wont be at a meet for a bit until my mk1 engine conversion is done, i cant turn up in anything but a mk1! :wink:

That's a shame, would be nice to have a chat even if you dont have your mk1.  Got a completely different mars red campaign mate.  Sold my old one 18 months ago.
