projects snow go

mmmmm, bacon butty, now there's an idea! Could be just what I need seeing as I'm off work. Oh the advantages of working in a school, slightest bit of snow, and they close the place

Mike.

Likewise!  :D

I only live 10 mins from my school and could've easily got there but got the call at 6:45am to say don't bother!   8)

On holiday now - school rocks    (Cue Glen!! )

Lucky you, I had a 7:00 start Thursday morning, they decided to close the school at 7:30, 10 mins after I got there asI was late because of the snow. I travel 15 miles to work, and I made it, but teachers that live a lot closer apparently couldn't get into work.

The funniest thing was I had to jump start my collegues ford escort because it wouldn't start, mine went first turn of the key!      Don't you just love the reliability!

The other fun thing was the carpark, completely empty, (and it's huuuuge) Couldn't resist having some fun with the handbrake in that before I eventually parked it approximately where I thought a bay was!

Hubby teaches further away, about 30 - 40 min drive. He left early and when he got there only 6  members of staff made it in!!

He got sent home again, but I bet the ones who said they couldn't make it won't be happy with the 6 who did!!

I had to drive to Wickford in Essex on a course Friday. The car park was full but you couldn't see the bays at all. When we came out the snow had gone and it looked like a load of blind people had parked there!!

Happy holiday!  :D
