Those wheels are the same as mine, except yours look a million times better than mine since the refurb, how much did the wheel refurb set you back if you don?t mind me asking?

The wheel re-furb was ?50 a wheel. That was including having them diamond cut on the face edge. It was less for a standard re-furb. They also done a good deal on the toyo's. I have seen a few sets of these wheels but not many. Glad i held on to them now

Got round to doing a few more bits today, starting to take shape now! Need a few bits to finish off the doors

1, internal door stay for drivers side. (not sure if they are left or right sided?)

2, small plastic seats that the door handles sit in. They go between door handle and paintwork x 2 per handle. (Passanger side)

3, Internal door release catch. Think there is two types need the one which is mounted to a metal frame.

If anybody has these bits for sale or are having a clear out please get in touch  

Got a engine thats being cleaned up so will be getting the bay painted soon then drop the new lump in. Then its a set of coilovers and a big brake set up and general suspension clean and sort out.
Will be keeping the plastic arches off and just getting a set of small ones for the rears. Does anybody know where i can get these from?? :dontknow:  thanks.

Been busy this weekend getting a engine out a donar car got a fast road cam and a decent spec head already fitted just in need of a good clean up and a bit of detailing





The shell of the donar car is up for grabs it is a very solid shell comes with new wings. Better than alot of shells out there. pm me if interested.
Got alot of bits ordered last week will try and keep the post coming!

Some of the new bits rocked up today. Waiting on a few other bits and then its just finding the time to get it all fitted!!

few extra bits on my doorstep today really need some more time to get them all fitted!

last few bits are getting sorted. Gearbox is back from Hardy's after having a rebuild and quaife diff fitted. Engine has just been rebuilt by a friends company (Board bro's) Turns out the engine was a 1.9 T.S.R lump good job it went for a rebuild as the big ends had gone! should be sending the car off to have the bay and the new engine dropped in very soon. hopefully get out to a few shows this summer!!  



 

just wonderin if the donor car is a 3 door? if so does it have a decent set of front window seals??? how much you want for the shell too??

Sorry mate car is already gone. A member on this forum came down from Manchester and picked it up.  His restro is posted up  at the moment.

Things have been a bit slow last few months too much work on and not enough time to get the car sorted engine is near on ready to drop in now suspension has been fitted along with all the other bits. Not long now!! Will get some pics of the car tomorrow.

I love the way you tellus that "a few" new bit have arrived and then post about a million pics! you could just about build the car from scratch with that little lot!

Me too its taking forever! Just want to get the final bits done now and enjoy the summer (all 2 weeks of it!!). Hopefully it should all come together very soon then i can get a few of the shows in this year.
