Mk1 Jim are you organising a convoy from Derbyshire?

do ya want to convoy up there EW, also I think we should join forces for the event activities, as theirs not many coming from norfolk  so far :?

Like the sound of teaming up for the events.  We are quite a small group down here and I only know of 4 that are going up from Essex at the mo.
Perhaps we could all merge into an Anglia or south east region?

As for convoy -  :y:  I guess we'ed meet you guys somewhere on the A14.

wooley yes will do a convoy, anybodt coming from derbyshire pm me to arrange details.

I'll just be bringing a small two man tent and it won't contain the misses! Shes come the last two years which actually suprised me a lot as she's not really interested in cars. She basically read her book the whole time last year :roll:.  She said she forgot how boring it was the first year!

So any news on number of pitches? It would be a nightmare if too many people turn up with tents and have no where to go. I left finding acommodation to a week before the event last year and found it hard getting a B&B, but it was a bank hol IIRC so that might have made a difference?

I guess if Hairyarse can see who voted, then he can say when it reaches 50, that its closed for camping and have a list of who's allowed to, and who has to find alternative arrangements?

just to make it clear (andy)  ops: I have voted and will deffo be camping it up on saturday evening, the tent is a regular sized one too :wink: (not bringing the wincester field hotel any more   )

voted and definitely camping. Hopefully I will be able to bring the folding camper I put on a thread a while back. It's not too big and I don't have to put the awning on if it's a prob.

Can I also register Rachel (Rach_GTI) as I know she will be camping too.
(can't vote for her but she definitely wants a pitch)

I voted too and I am deffinately camping! I'm bringing the biggest tent I can find!……. So there!  :mrgreen:

PS - Camping IS NOT FREE to NON-MEMBERS! Will confirm final cost in next day but would suspect that entry to non-members for Gaydon will be ?10 for weekend plus ?5 for camping pitch - or pay the ?20 and become a member with all the benefits. :wink:
