how do you win the golf gti on gran turismo 4

I have an unfair advantage (been there done that in a mk1) so i shant post my gt4 time , but you guys and gals arent too shabby . Do you want to try it for real though , ive organised a trip in october if anyone fancies it .

In reality its somewhat slower - 2mins 29 seconds slower , that armco gets awfully close .

now im gutted, the ps2 is going thro the window

iwas so close to emm but now the goals have moved

Sorry  ops: but i did say i had an unfair advantage - learn the circuit then switch off all driver aids including the next corner gear indicator i do it without the map too i found my times came down quite abit . :wink:

I've been watching this thread for ages and I really really want this game!!

I've played it once and got an 08:00 in a Mercedes SLR.  ops:

good way to practice in a merc slr is the driving challenges,last one is an slr round the ring to catch up an old gullwing and it can be a proper mare

AGH !  Just had another go at that just to remind myself how frustrating it is.

Those driving missions are the entire reason i stopped using that game.
