its red hot today - came into work with the roof down at half six this morning!! 8)

Squires is traditionally a biker meeting place.
I don't want to put a downer on it but I have been there a few times (on two wheels!). It really is bike focused & they can be a bit precious over their parking area.

But I will give it a go if that is where we decide to go.

As long as it's not a wednesday night my work collegue assures me it won't cause friction with the bikers, and that they have had car meets there before.
Might be a good idea to contact the landlord first, I'll give it a go.
Will let you all know in a while.

Just tried ringing, landlord not in till tomorrow, just gunna send em an e-mail instead.

Tried ringing again, Landlord not there.
At the end of the day its a pub, they are not going to turn away business and lets face it the car park is huge with an overflow car park aswel.
Lets just sort out a date and rough time and go for it!

yep i agree.  lets sort a date out and just rock up en masse.  the landlords not gonna object to selling another 20 pints of pop surely!!

I think its courteous to sort out an arrangement with the land lord… giving them a bit of notice ya know  :wink:

If we work out a time and date I could send another e-mail or try ringing, just to let them know we WILL be nipping in for an over priced pint of pop.
That way they can't say we haven't warned them, or, if anyone lives close ish to the venue they may wish to nip in and warn them.
