Club Competition

No mallice between us so no intentional damage but learnt today its been over heating/boiling after couple of miles driving - so guess needs fan motor or radiator or maybe just thermo switch :cry:  Not had anti-freeze in it apparently for a while - not good! :evil:

Well, went to check out the car on Sunday. I think the overheating problem was due to lack of anti-freeze and water freezing solid  8O  on the cold mornings last week as everything works ok. It now has got anit-freeze in it!!

Drove it for a couple of miles for first time in months - WOW - major grin factor!!

She is at local auctions tomorrow night so very close to being reunited with my baby!! In a sorry state though, check this!



Not been cleaned at all since I left the car with her - inside is full of rubbish! :evil:

I was so excited to drive the car tho yesterday I didn't even think to check what the mileage was!!  Will let you know when I pick her up and who the lucky winner is!

Oh no! This has thrown out the whole competition! You will have to estimate how many miles you did yesterday and subtract that from the number it now reads! In fact Drive the same route again so you know exactly!

She's bought a Renault Clio - I've just discovered. She can't pick it up until the weekend though so you've got another few days to get your guesses in!! :wink:

Er yep, probably why the car felt a little slow on pick-up yesterday - weighed down with all that dirt!

OK, I GOT IT BACK NOW!!!! (Well kind of!) She's got the Clio, the Golf is mine but will be in her garage for next week or so til I collect it propper.

Right then, votes are counted, officially verified by me!!   Got my car back today (minus petrol filler cap!! 8O  :dontknow: ) with 177,372 miles on it…. (Can post photographic evidence on Monday if you're bothered!!)

Which means, KINS IS THE WINNER!!! with the closest guess of 177,783 miles.

Yep, the poor student who couldn't buy a calendar has now got one!
