I have one fitted with 100w bulbs. 8)
The best mod you can do. The difference is amazing. Miles better than standard twin lamp too!
I really recommend either buying one or making one.
Tut tut, can get a lovely fine for having non 'E' marked bulbs in your lights! Not that they're every likey to check thou!

I used to own a mk1 - well I've had 2 actually - YDU 720X & SMU 420Y. Currently I drive an 98 Scotia White Mitsubishi Evolution V RS…. fancy getting another mk1 someday

Single lamp with chrome trim for me and funnily enough i've got an uprated headlight loom winging its way to me as we speak 8)

I don't think they will be too bad. I'm always carefull and dip them early as possible.
There certainly not as bad as these modern zenon lamps and HID's. :evil:
