17 yrs old with a mk 1 gti??

I've got a mk1 '83 driver 1.3, cost me about 50 bucks to change my insurance from my 1.1 peugot 309… (oh yeah, classy…!) which cost me 660 a year to insure, I'm 19 got two years of driving clean sheet but no no-claims as I was on my mums insurance…!
So that was ?710 for third party fire and theft, with norwich union direct… I thought it was good, but might shop around when it comes to renewal… seems I could get it a lot cheaper… Anyone know the details about applying for classic insurance, age/mileage limits and all that…?

for classic insurance it over 25, use of another car, 6000 mile limit. Had a right off in last 6 months!!

?1800 fully comp

and a quote of ?908 tpft but i hvae to be insured fully comp due to all mods declared so its same price a tpft with ?4 on top??

yeah i still do pay ?3000 pounds - it sucks. Insurance again in july for me.
