What I’m saying is that untill you take the hood off from around the sides it’s difficult to get a proper idea of what you need.
We’ve had cars in that look solid enough only to find once the rear area is taken out some of the channel  comes away with the old hood.
We’ve done loads of these cars and a good bodyshop shop should be able to fabricate and weld up new sections.
Then we’ve had the odd one that looked bad but only ended up with surface rust.
It’s a mixed bag at times.
