You can buy a lot of nice car for 87k. Not sure why you;d want to try and sell something like that on ebay. If it is what it says it is you'd be better off in some specialist publication.
I like the wheels though. Anyone know what they are? Speedline? Oz?

Edit - looked at the pics. Speedline. Shame they don't do them in 14" : (

Why is jam called jam if marmalade is called marmalade? Aren't they the same things?

Oh sorry, I suppose you meant about the car!

Erm why £87,000 would be my first question?

Surely either £90k or 80k?

Sounds like a bit of a scam?

Is this related to the famous joke, "what's the difference between jam and marmalade?"

100K euros maybe?

That's a tonne of cash, if I had that cash to spend I'd buy a Lotus Carlton, hot tub and some chips on the way home

As it's a Group A Rallye then  it's quite cheap compared to others (205 T16 for example) and where would you find another?

About 4 pounds a jar.
As I was told, regular folk used /jelly/jam/preserves.
Uppity folks used Marmalade.

:)

That is why do ya'll call them Biscuits, when we call them Cookies, and then our Biscuits are best served hot, with butter, jam/jelly/Sausage patty….

This is a Biscuit.

Now I am getting Hungry……

As for near 90,000 pounds, that is a lot of coin for a car that you wouldn't want to drive on the streets as it would be un-comfortable….I would rather spend my coin on a newer car…..

So it's a Rally Type..  For that they should of posted that it won some…but then again the old saying, "A fool and his money is soon parted."

The 'biscuit' is a scone and the 'cookie' is a biscuit.

The car is another with a hope value, which is basically meaningless until its sold - and typically, the actual sale price is a deal done below the advertised price. The more ridiculous an advertised price, the further apart the real price is.

Rally cars or replicas are a bit of a specialist thing, they have limited appeal but also would put off road use for many, so it doesn't really make it more desirable. Also, if its never been used in rallying, it will have no provinence. And if it has been used in rallying…..

The Golf was never that successful in rallying either.

Very small market, I suspect it would struggle at £15k to sell.

Woah there my good man.  We shall not be having clotted cream and jam with what clearly looks like cheese scone.   The cheese scone differs from the fruit scone in that the cheese scone is made with from the sweat of Satan's scrotum whereas the fruit scone is made from the tears of angels.

Either way it is important to get the pronunciation correct.  It is "s-cone" it isn't "s-gone" or "s-con"

My mother who was a posh as a posh thing haven eaten posh pills, always pronounced it Sc-own
But,
A YouGov survey has revealed that most people agree the correct way to say 'scone' is when it rhymes with 'gone' rather than 'bone'.

I don't care, its a form of cake, so I'll eat it, even a cheese one, though cheese and chive repeat on me! :ocf_emoticons__icon_lol:

Those aren't Scones or Cakes, they are by-goodness southern buttermilk biscuits, no cheese in those.

They do make Cheese Biscuits and all sorts of flavors, but in the Morning a Sausage Biscuit with Yellow Mustard, or a Fried Chicken Biscuit with Yellow Mustard….. and a Cup O'Joe…..Then you have a Fresh warn Biscuit with real Butter and Honey…Heaven, I'm in Heaven… .

Your mother has simply been raised correctly, yougov? Pfft next you'll be telling me it's a muffin not a barm.  And then my good sir lines will have been crossed.  Crossed.
