here we go .....

Some serious progress being made here with lots of shiny stuff going on all complementing the style of the car.  You’ll need shares in metal polish to keep up the shine long term!

Thank you it’s slowly getting there just awaiting my wheels back from the refurbishment

Think your right about the shiney parts

Polished stainless steel bolts

And alloy bonnet hinges

So today the new bonnet hinges went on ,
Put the passengers side front wing back on and made it fit correctly ,
Mounted the oil catch can to the new place.
Changed the headlight bulbs
Laid some more wax oil in places

Put in the new bottom bonnet catch

Just found this thread and wow that's a good looking car and well done on all you have done, glad you are changing the wheel colour the red just looked all wrong…

Get some plastic dash vent inserts, they stop the dash peel and help vent the air on to the windscreen, they just push in the holes and we'll worth the money.

Like this…

Wow!!!! Good job on this it's looks amazing, enjoyed reading through that with all the pics 👍🏼. Good job with the metal polish, I find that doing something quite simple like that can spur you on to carry on if you start to lose interest. What did u decide with the wheels?

Thank you I’m trying to document everything  for my record and how people used to do a build thread,

The wheels will be up soon there a bit of a suspense as they should of been ready for the 19th of April but still not done ,
And I’ve still got to get them ceramic coated when they come back from paint and also wrap them in a better suited rubbers  with some grip

So won’t be too too long until there on the car then I can adjust the ride hight

That red deffo did not do the wheel any justice

Still liking your work, it’s coming along nicely.

What size tyres did you go for?
